What does a LVD do ?
A LVD or low voltage battery disconnect module takes care of your battery from getting fully discharged or depleted. It's connected between the battery and the load .
Circuit Operation
The Circuit is very similar to the 555 charge controller in operation , only that when the battery voltage drops to 10.5v adjustable it disconnects the load, leaving the wind turbine or solar panel to charge the battery until it reaches 13.5to 14.5 volts, the lvd switches back on the load .
