MPPT ARPPINO charge controller

So 2014 was started with the MPPT controller, after a month working on this project , a prototype is available and is currently being tested on the bench. the controller has some nice features which are listed below.

Protection Features

Under voltage and over voltage protection

Load disconnect feature -

Models 12v and 24v version

36v and 48v version - in the coming months

polarity reversal protection 
In line fuse for more added protection.

Has a 20 x 4 lcd which displays

Current state : full on, trickle ,floating, on , off

source input voltage and current 
battery voltage and current

pulse width status

temperature and humidity

current time and date

In addition the controller outputs all the data through the usb port for logging purposes.

has built in lcd brightness dimming control to minimise current consumption.

has a keypad which can be used to setup the configuration
